Celebrating Inclusion on the International Day of Sign Languages

On September 23, the HR Department at Al Handal International Group, led by Vian A. Taher (Head of HR), proudly organized a special event to mark the  International Day of Sign languages.

This occasion reminded us that communication is not only about words, it is about connection, understanding, and respect for every individual.

The event brought together students from Al Amal and Al Ta’awn schools, who inspired us with their resilience and positivity. Together, we discussed the challenges faced by the deaf and mute community and explored practical ways to support them, making daily life more inclusive and accessible within society.

Our colleagues also had the chance to participate in sports activities, practice sign language, and engage directly in their language, a meaningful step toward building empathy and connection.
