Hardan Al Handal plays a vital role as the business coordinator in Al Handal International Group (HIG) specifically within commercial investments, real estate management, and shipping and cargo divisions. His reputable experience allowed him to secure significant agreements while handling HIG’s businesses in Jordan, Turkey, and Japan. Hardan is a major player in building the group’s international reputation of integrity, professionalism, and excellence.

Mohammed Noori Al Handal successfully climbed the ranks of Al Handal
International Group (HIG) beginning in the year 2000, and eventually became the CEO of the group in 2007. Due to his valuable experience, high education, and rigorous training, he has proudly been the sole motivator behind the achievement of the major milestones in the group’s expansion in trading investments, general trading, and real estate management. As CEO, he urges uncompromising social responsibility across all divisions.

Wadood Noori Al Handal has been utilizing and relying on his experience in co-managing Al Handal International Group (HIG) alongside his brothers since the year 2000. By mastering a high level of quality with regards to customer service and operations that drive efficient productivity, he successfully developed a record in optimizing long-term gains in performance. Wadood strives to deliver high-quality projects across the group by encouraging creative problem solving and innovative solutions.

Noor Noori Al Handal is the Deputy CEO and board member of Al Handal Group, with almost nine years of experience working through a variety of roles in the treasury and investments department. Noor’s philosophy revolves around motivating and leading his colleagues through rigorous training to ensure healthy and prospering customer relations. With a continuous thirst for knowledge, Noor can always be found encouraging others to broaden their skills and awareness of the industry.
Atheer Al Qadi

Eng. Atheer Al-Qadi is a graduate from Baghdad University who excelled in the Business sector shortly after joining Al Handal International Group in 1998. He advanced in many strategic positions within the organization mainly focusing on managing contracts with different governmental ministries until 2003.
Eng. Atheer was the key contributor in implementing the organization’s vision and long-term strategies including starting the Banking sector within HIG and was a board member of Ashur International Bank until 2019. Eng. Atheer is currently the founder and CEO of the financial Banking solutions company ‘Amwal For Electronic Banking Solutions’.
Ziad Badr
INDEPENDENT BOARD MEMBER
Ziad Badr is a Lebanese national who joined the World Bank in 1993 with a focus on the Africa and MENA regions. He assumed various responsibilities as the Senior Economist in the Africa Knowledge and learning unit where the concepts of "Knowledge Bank" and "Monitoring and Evaluation tools" were pioneered. Shortly after, Ziad was announced as the Head of the World Bank mission in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and relocated to Amman as Head of the World Bank office for Iraq and Jordan. Ziad has been instrumental in establishing the World Bank presence in Baghdad and nurturing relations with the Iraqi government. His success was due to the extensive network initiated with both the private and public sectors in Iraq. After over 26 years of a budding career, Ziad retired in 2019 and continues to work as a senior adviser, and Board Member in numerous leading companies in the MENA region.
Dr. Yass Alkafaji
INDEPENDENT BOARD MEMBER & FIN ADVISOR
Dr. Yass Alkafaji is a highly accomplished academician, an experienced practitioner, and a recognized leader in the field of accounting and business. He is the founder of Alkafaji & Associates, Ltd (A&A), a prominent accounting firm in Chicago, and holds a partnership position at Ledgers Accounting and Auditing LLC in Dubai. As a Board Member and Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee at Al Handal Group, Dr. Alkafaji brings a wealth of expertise and a distinguished track record of success. With a strong foundation in academia, Dr. Alkafaji serves as an Emeritus Professor of Business Administration at the esteemed American University of Sharjah (AUS), where he held the position of Professor of Accounting for 15 years. Additionally, he holds the prestigious role of Academic Director of the Iraq Public Policy and Leadership Program (IPLP) based at AUS. Dr. Alkafaji holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, a DBA from Mississippi State University, a Bachelor's degree from the University of Baghdad, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the USA.
Rani Mohamad Karimeh
ADVISOR TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Rani is a strategist and trusted advisor with extensive hands-on experience in management, business leadership and working with the Board of Directors, Banks, Consultants and Attorneys. MENA experience in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt, Iraq, Algeria and Lebanon. Nominated as Board member in several entities.
Rani is a Consultant in Financial Structuring, Risk Management, Tax Planning and Governance and an Advisory Board Member.
Held positions as the Deputy General Manager and Group CFO of Solidere SAL from 2017 until 2023 and the Group CFO of Solidere International PLC from 2008 until June 2019. Prior to Solidere, Rani held positions at Novartis AG as Regional Financial Manager for the ME Cluster, Senior audit manager at Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen.
Lebanese national, with Turkish and Grenadian citizenships, a CPA from the University of Illinois in Chicago, an MBA and a BS degrees from the Lebanese American University. Rani is 51, married, fluent in Arabic, English and French.
