Wadee Al Handal Participates in the Global Investor Conference, Discusses Banking Support for Industry

Wadee Al Handal, Chairman of Al Handal International Group (HIG) and President of the Iraqi Private Banks League (IPBL), along with Mr. Ali Tariq, Executive Director of the IPBL, participated in the Global Investor Conference organized by the Iraqi Securities Commission on October 1-2.

Al Handal emphasized the importance of opening the public sector to private investment, enhancing participation to attract investments and develop public companies, particularly in the banking sector. In his discussion with the Minister of Industry, Dr. Khaled Battal Al-Najm, he highlighted the need for further cooperation to support industrial growth through private banking financing.
