Wadee Al Handal, President of the Iraqi Private Banks League and Chairman of the Group, met with His Excellency Mr. Omid Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, to discuss initiatives aimed at advancing the banking sector and strengthening its role in supporting economic activity and investment.

The discussion focused on expanding banking services, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and developing financial and banking skills among youth, including the proposal to organize a specialized workshop in this field.

The Governor of Erbil expressed his gratitude to the group and the Central Bank of Iraq for their humanitarian efforts in supporting families affected by the floods, emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation. For his part, wadee affirmed the league's commitment to strengthening its partnership with the Kurdistan Regional Government in a way that contributes to achieving development and economic stability.
