The E-Pulse electronic services project was launched under the patronage of the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, Mr. Masrour Barzani, with the participation of the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI), Mr. Ali Al-Alaq, Mr. Wadee Al-Handal, President of the Iraqi Private Banks League (IPBL) and Chairman of Al Handal International Group (HIG), along with representatives from banks and digital wallet companies across Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.

Mr. Wadee highlighted that the project marks a major step in the digital transformation of Iraq’s financial sector, enhancing financial inclusion, expanding access to banking services, supporting transparency, and reducing cash-based transactions.

He added that the League continues to support initiatives that modernize banking infrastructure and implement advanced digital solutions, in line with the directives of the Central Bank of Iraq and the country’s economic reform plans.
