On 23rd February 2023, marked a historic day for AbuGhraib district as we welcomed Her Excellency the Ambassador of the United States of America, Alina Romanowski, her excellency the Undersecretary for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Safiya Talib Al-Suhail, and his excellency the Mayor of Abu Ghraib, Othman Al-Mazidi for a visit. Mohammad Waleed Al Handal represented the Al Handal International Group alongside representatives from The Station and The Gallery during the visit. Various artworks and artifacts of the district were exhibited, highlighting its rich history and culture.

The purpose of the visit was to strengthen the infrastructure and build relationships to ensure prosperity in our beloved country. We are honored to have participated in this important visit and are committed to playing our role in building a brighter future for Abu Ghraib district. We hope that this visit will result in increased support from the USA to help further improve the district's infrastructure and provide opportunities for growth and development.
