On Friday, The Station,  Iraq’s leading co-working & Entrepreneurship hub, celebrated its 5thAnniversary with a special event attended by many distinguished and high-ranking guests, most notably His Excellency the Japan Ambassador to Iraq - Mr. Futoshi Matsumoto, and delegation from the Embassies of United States, United Kingdom, France, and  India, in addition to the European Union and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung e.V., and many representatives of private companies.

The event began with a welcome address by Ashley Barlow (Executive Director of The Station), and then was followed by a speech by Mr. Omar Al-Handal (Managing Director of Al-Handal International Group and the current head and Co-Founder of The Station), during which he shared his vision of The Station's journey over the past five years.

The speeches were followed by a video reviewing the station's most prominent achievements and its positive impact over a period of 5 years. The event was concluded by Mostafa Dawood, Programs Manager at The Station, who announced to the audience its new vision and role in the future.

In the end, we concluded the event with a special performance for playing the Oud.
