The Iraq Britain Business Council (IBBC) hosted their Spring conference at the Mansion house in London on 24th May.

The theme of the conference was ‘Sustaining Economic Growth in Iraq’. It included sessions focusing on Finance,  Energy,  Education and Future Tech among others.

Mr Wadeea Al Handal, chairman of AL Handal International Group & Iraq Private Banking League and Mr. Noor Al Handal, Deputy CEO of Al Handal International Group were in attendance. The conference-included delegates from Iraq besides leading Iraqi businesses, private investors and members.

Notable speakers included the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, H.E Mr. Mustafa Ghalib Mukheef, the Governor of Kirkuk, H.E. Mr Rakan Aljoubouri, the Chairman of the Trade Bank of Iraq, Dr Salem Chalabi and H.E. Dr Dara Rasheed, Minister of Planning, Kurdish Regional Government.
