Global embassies visit The Gallery: Embark on the next steps to social & cultural awareness in Iraq
“Lightness of Autumn” art exhibition unveiled this week, at The Gallery in Baghdad, featuring works of 23 Iraqi artists focused on contemporary topics including climate change, Covid-19, and racism. 10% of its profits will be allocated to the “Giving Bank” Noor Ala Noor Charity Organization.
The exhibition opened in presence of academics, intellectuals, and high-rank officials from the Embassies of the UK, USA, Philippines, Australia, France, India, Bangladesh and the European Union in Iraq.
Established by the Al-Handal International Group as a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project, under the patronage of Mr. Wadeea Al-Handal (Chairman of HIG), The Gallery seeks to provide a creative and inspirational space for local and regional artists to create a cultural dialogue between the present and the future.
It was noted that this event had an aura of a cheerful atmosphere, and with the blessing and encouragement of prominent personalities to embark on the first steps of the CSR project in Iraq.
